Our love of Phil Lynott!
The Bloody Stream have recently signed up as Patrons to the Phil Lynott ‘Moonlight’ show. The show celebrates his life and music and has been selling out nationwide with further dates being added all the time. It is a true celebration of a fantastic Irish artist and one we are very proud of! We so look forward to remembering Phil on his birthday each August where fans fly from all around the world to celebrate with us.
“I am delighted to be a patron of the show. Phil Lynott is very close to our hearts for a number of reasons. His Mum Philomena was a dear friend and was a patron of The Bloody Stream in Howth. I’d also like to mention Graham who looked after Philomena along with Frankie Roberts and Jimmy Coup. Frankie and Jimmy started the tradition of celebrating Phil’s birthday 20 years ago in The Bloody Stream and now each August we have guests flying in from around the world to Howth. It is a really special event where we celebrate Phil and his music, his Mum Philomena, and we also showcase local upcoming talent on our dedicated Phil Lynott stage.
